MAH HM CET
MAH-HM-CET is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State for admission to four-year degree course in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT) in Government, Govt. Aided, University Departments and Un-aided
Institutes that are approved by the State Government in Maharashtra
State. From 2018, the exam is expected to be conducted only via online modes.
Eligibility Criteria MAH HM CET 2018
Candidates eligible for MAH HM CET 2018 should have passed Class 12 with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only). The student should have passed the examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in Science/Home Science/MCVC/Commerce/Arts. English is compulsory as one of the subjects.
MAH HM CET 2018 Application Process and Fees
Candidates who are interested for MAH HM CET 2018 should visit the website
. Then you have to click on the “Apply online” button and fill their personal, qualification and other details. Once done, upload your recent passport size photograph and signature. Choose the needed test centre and then click on the submit button. After this process, you have to pay the application fee online through Debit/ Credit Card. For general Category Maharashtra State, and Jammu & Kashmir candidates, the fee is Rs 700 and for reserved category & Physically Handicapped Students belonging to Maharashtra State the fee is Rs 500.
MAH HM CET 2018 Syllabus
The test would have 100 Questions based on reasoning and on subjects including Arithmetic, English Language & General Awareness including questions on culture, current national, international affairs, trade & commerce, sports, scientific inventions and discoveries, travel/tourism etc.Verbal Abilities and Reading Comprehension
Candidates are tested on English grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc. The hold on language is determined via understanding of the contents of the passage and choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and comprehending language skills.
The section measures your power of quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs and charts.Logical And Abstract Reasoning
Via this section, you are able to quickly and accurately measure your potential to think. The test also includes questions based on figures and diagrams along with verbal reasoning.

MAH HM CET 2018 Exam Pattern
The 90-minute examination will be conducted online and will include multiple choice objective type questions (MCQs). There will be 100 Questions based on the above category only in English. No translation option is available.
